The UCCRF Associates Board is taking off their tie’s and rolling up their sleeves and getting serious about raising money for important cancer research at our annual Summer Gala.  This year the Board presents The No Tie Ball.  Escape hot summer days for a hot August evening at the very hip James Hotel, Saturday August 9th in support of Cancer Research at the University of Chicago.  The UCCRF Associates Board invites you to enjoy an evening dining and dancing with passed hors d'oeuvres from the award winning David Burke's Primehouse, an open top shelf bar,  and entertainment from some of Chicago’s hottest DJs from 9-12.  There will be an extensive array of silent auction items for attendees to bid on ranging from a day at the spa to original works of art to a day recording your favorite song with an indie rock band.  Remember, while the cause is of great consequence - the continued support of ground-break research in Immunology: the manipulation of patients' immune systems to promote tumor destruction - the evening is relaxed; dress in cocktail attire, but leave those constricting neckties at home!
